Green Cards and Permanent Residencies
A Green Card is a document to help you prove your legal permanent residency and that also serves as a travel document that allows you to enter in and out of the United States. There are 2 types of legal permanent residencies:
- A Conditional Legal Permanent Residency: A Green Card that expires in 2 years and cannot be renewed.
- A Legal Permanent Residency with no conditions: A Green Card that expires in 10 years and can be renewed.
