1ST WEEK OF APRIL 2018: I RECEIVED A LETTER FOR THE GREEN CARD INTERVIEW. DUE 05/03/2018.

(THE INTERVIEW DID NOT LAST MORE THAN 20 -25 MINS…ALSO LUKE MET US AT CONGRESS PARKWAY AND ARRIVED EARLIER THAN US! (THUMBS UP LUKE!)

BETWEEN THE 2ND & 3RD WEEK OF MAY 2018: I RECEIVED AN APPROVAL LETTER FROM USCIS. CASE WAS APPROVED.

MAY 18, 2018: I RECEIVED A CALL FROM LUKE, CONFIRMING HE HAD OUR GREEN CARD AND CONGRATULATED MY WIFE AND I FOR OBTAINING THIS DOCUMENT.

Mario was my lawyer for a very high profile case. I was charged with a felony for threatening a public officials life over Facebook. I was facing 1 to 3 years in jail and a class 3 felony. After two years of going back-and-forth with the prosecutor he took my case to trial and we won. I was proven not guilty. Mario is the kind of lawyer that will not pressure you into doing anything you do not want to do. He will have your back and support you with whatever decision you make regarding your case. He fought hard for me and in the end we won.

We had a very good experience here, everything we had questions about we got clear answers and all of our paperwork was explained well. Everyone is polite and they made us feel at home. After they had all of our paperwork they sent it out promptly. They were with us for every step of the way, and they knew exactly what to do when we had a hiccup during our application process. I definitely recommend this law office to anyone looking for help. I will use Mario Godoy Law Office again in the future.

I usually don’t have the time to write reviews, but this one deserves to be posted. After several lawyers didn’t wanted to take my case because it was “too complicated “, Mario stepped in and took it.Yes-my case was a little bit complicated, but not for Mario. He earned my trust and respect on the very first consultation. After he took my case he filled all the necessary papers and left no stone unturned until my case was dismissed. I highly recommend Godoy Law Office for anyone who is looking for assistance with Immigration issues. I have never had any luck with hiring an attorney until I hired the Godoy Law Office Immigration Law Firm. My husband was placed into deportation proceedings and a cousin recommended this other law firm in the Chicago area. This lawyer never showed up to the appointments, but was more than happy to take our money and then ask for more when they were failing to meet their contractual agreements. Due to my bad experience previously, I was hesitant to hire another lawyer and explained this to Godoy Law Office. They listened to my experience and made my new one a very pleasant one! Throughout the case, the judge kept explaining to the attorney that everything he wanted to try was not going to work– even though my husband had an unusual case. Did this deter the attorney?
