Working for an immigration law firm is important to me because as the daughter of immigrants who went through the legal hurdles to obtain status. I understand how important and life changing it can be to legally call the United States home. I have benefited from the opportunities that become available, not only to the immigrant but to their children and at times the family they leave behind in their home country.
