U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has finalized a new rule impacting several key areas for immigration and naturalization applicants and petitioners. The new fees, forms and premium processing are effective April 1, 2024. In their new rule published January 30, 2024, USCIS made the first fee increase for most immigration services since 2016. The proposed USCIS fee increases were announced in 2023 and were under review and public comment. Here is a summary of the key changes:
