U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) launched a new online self-service appointment request form on August 21, 2023, that allows applicants, attorneys and accredited representatives to request an appointment at their local field office without the need to call the USCIS Contact Center. This is a great way to save time and avoid having to wait on hold for a representative. This online appointment request tool allows individuals or their legal representative to request an in-person appointment at a field office only for ADIT stamps, Emergency Advance Parole, Immigration Judge Grants and a few other
The tool is not for self-scheduling appointments with USCIS, however. After submitting the form, a representative from the Contact Center will review your request and confirm the date and time of your appointment. This process may take a few days, so applicants need to be patient.
