Illinois Governor JB Pritzker released The Illinois Immigrant Impact Task Force on May 4, 2023, a comprehensive report that delves into the various challenges facing immigrant, refugee and limited English proficiency communities. The Task Force was created via SB 2665, the Immigrant Impact Task Force Act, and consists of 27 members representing a wide and diverse group of agencies, organizations, and residents from across the state. The report shares helpful recommendations that the state can implement to assist the immigrant population better.
