An administrative review is a process for you to challenge a decision by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). If your citizenship application is denied, you may be able to request an administrative review. To do so, you must file Form N-336 with USCIS within 30 days of the date of the denial.
During an administrative review, a different USCIS officer will review your case and make a new decision. The officer will consider all of the evidence submitted with your original application and any new evidence you submit with your request for administrative review.
If the officer finds that you were wrongly denied citizenship, they will approve your application. However, if the officer finds that you were properly denied citizenship, your application will be denied again.
